We offer the
ability to turn on or off various layers on our map, such as camera and event
icons, our weather radar map and even our traffic congestion map.
For handheld devices such as an iPhone 6, the map tools can
be accessed by clicking on the gear icon
on the bottom of the map screen
To go back to the map, just click
on the gear icon again. Or you can click on the “x” in the upper right corner
of the map tools window.
To enable or edit the Event Layer
Display, click on “Events.” Select or deselect the events that are of interest
to you. To colapse the events selector tab, simply click on “Events” again.
To enable the camera layer, click
on “Devices,” then ensure the camera layer is checked. To deselect “Cameras,”
simply uncheck. Like the Event layer, to collapse the camera/device layer
simply click on “Devices” again.
The Conditions and Speeds layer is
depicted above.
- We offer a Weather Radar layer, which illustrates real-time rain
conditions. The darker the layer, the heavier the rain.
- We also feature a Congestion layer, which illustrates real-time
speeds on the freeways on O’ahu. Residents with color differentiation issues
may choose alternate color formats.
Our Quick View option allows users
to easily reorient the map to a popular map view, like Honolulu and Ewa.
